Creating a Respectful Workplace: Harassment Awareness and Prevention for Managers
Now more than ever, harassment awareness and prevention training is critical to an optimally-functioning organization.
Employees, no matter where or how they work, need to know that their company means what it says when it advocates for a harassment-free environment. This class illustrates the important role that managers play in building and maintaining a respectful workplace.
This skills-based session will present the following:
- Harassment, discrimination, and protected classes
- What constitutes a hostile work environment
- Impact versus intent
- The Reasonable Person standard
- Workplace bullying
- Workplace investigations
- Retaliation and protected activities
- The manager’s role in prevention
Class Structure
This class consists of a half-hour video lesson and a 20-question quiz. The learner must answer 14 questions correctly to earn a Certificate of Completion for the class.
