Building and maintaining a respectful workplace free from harassment, incivility, and bullying requires a continued focus by all team members.
At the end of this skills-based session, you will be able to:
- Describe the components of a respectful workplace
- Understand what civility is and why it is important
- Apply workplace culture insights to improve the work environment
- Recognize the damaging effect of incivility
- Understand what constitutes a hostile work environment
- Apply the Reasonable Person standard
- Describe what constitutes harassment and bullying and what to do about it
- Understand what retaliation is and how to prevent it
- Recognize what employees can do to promote workplace respect and prevent harassment, discrimination, and bullying
Class Structure
This class consists of a half-hour video lesson and a 10-question quiz. The learner must answer 7 questions correctly to earn a Certificate of Completion for the class.
