With human interaction will most certainly come some form of conflict. In this solutions-focused class you will learn proven techniques to respond to conflict in a manner that maintains interpersonal relationships and results in positive outcomes.

At the end of this skills-based session, you will be able to:

  • Understand the causes of conflict in the workplace
  • Approach conflict rationally and with an open mind
  • Recognize the power of listening to the other person
  • Focus on the issue or situation, not the other person
  • Dissipate the frustration that comes with conflict
  • Work toward positive outcomes in conflict situations

Class Structure

This class consists of a half-hour video lesson and a 10-question quiz. The learner must answer 7 questions correctly to earn a Certificate of Completion for the class.
